Project Overview
The Phase II flour milling workshop of a grain and oil enterprise in Fujian is an 8-story concrete structure, with each floor covering approximately 3,400 square meters. This includes a 1,800 square meter blending room and a 1,600 square meter cleaning and milling area. Production equipment operates continuously 24 hours a day, constantly releasing heat. The project site is located in a coastal area, densely surrounded by petrochemical enterprises, resulting in high outdoor dust levels. Due to food safety concerns, the workshop cannot utilize natural ventilation by opening windows to dissipate heat. This leads to high internal temperatures and stuffiness, which not only affects employee work efficiency and physical well-being but also, due to the dry air, exacerbates the suspension of flour particles. This creates a potentially explosive dusty environment, posing a significant safety hazard. In this context, adopting evaporative cooling technology for temperature reduction not only effectively manages the complex heat load but also significantly lowers energy consumption, making it a more ideal solution.

Operational Mode
The project is equipped with 16 units of the "Windstorm" series: In the cleaning and milling area, 7 units are installed on the north side of the first and second floors respectively. These units primarily address airflow and environmental issues, operating in a direct air supply mode. Their core objectives are to increase humidity, optimize the production process, and reduce static electricity and dust hazards. On the first floor's blending room, 2 units are installed on the west side, primarily focused on improving personnel comfort. These units use air ducts to deliver cool air directly to workstations, prioritizing cooling needs while also providing air humidification.
The circulating water system for the equipment in this project adopts a centralized water supply with a direct supply and discharge model. This eliminates components like internal water pumps and drain valves within each unit. This centralized, direct supply/discharge circulating water system effectively improves circulating water quality, ensures the cleanliness of the supplied air, and reduces the failure and maintenance rate of equipment components.

Results Demonstration
Since the equipment was put into operation, the workshop environment has significantly improved: The humidity in the cleaning and milling area is maintained within an appropriate range, the amount of suspended flour particles has visibly decreased, static electricity hazards are effectively controlled, and the safety of the production environment has been notably enhanced. Temperatures in the work areas of the blending room have been effectively lowered, greatly improving employee comfort and ensuring work efficiency. Furthermore, the centralized water supply and direct discharge system operates stably, resulting in low equipment failure rates and manageable maintenance costs. The overall project outcome has received high recognition from the enterprise, providing an excellent solution for ventilation, cooling, and safety management in grain and oil production workshops.
